Leather is actually one of the easiest furniture materials to maintain. Dust the furniture at least once a week with a clean, dry cloth. Every six to twelve months, you should condition the leather to keep it supple and soft. If you spill something, try to blot up as much of it as you can before it becomes a permanent stain. Always keep leather furniture away from direct sunlight.


With the proper care, upholstery fabric remains attractive for a long time. Vacuuming at least once a week will remove a lot of the excess dirt, dust, and hair.
