Specialty Landscape Lights

We are always on the lookout for new and innovative products here at Traditions. With this years catalogs rolling in, we were able to get an insider’s look at some of the different specialty lighting options that our industry leading suppliers are offering this year. Most of our clients are aware of the standard up, down, path, and spread light options, but even we were surprised with some of these specialty fixtures.  So if you are looking for a fixture that offers a little something extra for a unique space, or maybe just a bit of inspiration, we have you covered.

LED WALL LIGHT

These lights are unique in that they are meant to be installed in harmony with stone or other veneer materials. The light itself is connected to a metal plate that slides into the seal of the stones and casts light on the space below it. These features are great for lighting pathways in spaces that traditional path lights might not fit or adding a unique glow to a stone house number marker or siding.

PO LED WALL LIGHT

These smaller lights are great for lighting an area that does not have the room for traditional above ground lighting fixtures. Because they are meant to be recessed, they do not take up any vertical space. They can be put in paths, tables, stone fencing and more, or used as a decorative addition to greenery, as is shown in the picture above.

LE LED DOWNLIGHT

This downlight is a great fixture for spaces where the installation hardware needs to be kept to a minimum. The design is sleek and compact, making the fixture perfect for hanging over tables, in patios, or under trees.  Using multiple can create a robust and welcoming space across a backyard area where uplights are not practical.

LP LED UNDERWATER LIGHT

The underwater models of lights are some of the most impressive to observe. With varying sizes and brightnesses, they are ideal for ponds, aquatic landscape architecture, fountains, and more. Completely waterproof, these fixtures offer great light at night without taking away from your aquatic display during the day.

BQ LED SPECIALTY LIGHT

These fixtures are may look like an indoor fixture, but they are designed to take the tough outdoor weather conditions. They are perfect for spotlighting next to a grill or a favorite outdoor reading space. They have all of the practicality and versatility of a desk light, but all of the form and function of an outdoor fixture.

LL LED UNDER WATER LIGHT

What sets these lights apart is their ability to function as a standing uplight while still being submerged in the water. These lights are freestanding and have a certain amount of aiming control when placed. This allows for more customization of the light beam with less alteration of the fountain or structure that is being lit.

KG LED WELL LIGHT

Because this light is submerged in the ground, it allows for more flexibility in placement and upkeep. These fixtures can be mowed over, walked on, and generally treated as if they are just another part of the lawn. Because of the fixtures durable outer shell and integrated design, the fixture is able to be seamlessly integrated into the ground while still providing all of the benefits of a standard uplight. They are excellent options for yards with no clear cut gardens and mulch beds around trees.

FC LED WELL LIGHT

Like the KG well light, this fixture is meant to be integrated into a space with a high amount of traffic. While the KG light is designed to focus a beam of light at a specific place, these lights have a larger spotlight range. They are great for lighting paths or lighting a wall in an even, spread out light. They are safe to walk on and are minimalistic enough to be integrated into most path areas.

With all of these new options, it’s becoming more and more impossible not to get the best possible outdoor lighting display for you and your household’s needs.
