Situated on a high point in Black Earth, WI, this massive barn overlooks sprawling acreage, making it a prominent landmark for the surrounding area. While our team previously installed seasonal lighting for this property, the new homeowner opted for a permanent solution that provides year-round brilliance without the annual setup. This project involved a complete transformation, transitioning the entire structure to a high-efficiency permanent lighting system that highlights the building’s impressive scale. The resulting installation serves as a brilliant focal point on the horizon, offering the owners a maintenance-free way to showcase their home for any occasion. It’s a true hilltop “glow-up” that respects the barn’s heritage while embracing modern technology.

We utilized an outward-facing “Traditional Style” of permanent lights to trace the extensive perimeter and intricate rooflines of the entire structure. This large-scale installation required meticulous detail to ensure every dormer and cupola was perfectly illuminated, mirroring the classic holiday look the owner desired. To manage the complexity of such a massive building, we installed five independent controllers that sync together seamlessly. This allows the homeowner to change colors across the entire barn simultaneously with a single tap, creating a unified and powerful display. The finished project perfectly accents the architectural complexity of the barn, providing a synchronized glow that is visible for miles around the property.
