Rise and Shine

This landscape lighting project, located in Waukesha, included all new LED uplight fixtures from Kichler. As with many of our projects, every fixture was chosen to be Kichler’s Centennial Brass Series. Being durable and visually appealing, this style is a good fit for most landscapes. For this display in specific, the client’s goal was simple… light the entire front face of their home. This goal was accomplished through eleven uplights and one flood light.

A more unique aspect of this landscape lighting project is the use of small risers for two uplight fixtures near the home’s front entrance. Since the goal was to provide light over the entire front face, our team wanted to make sure we were able to shine on the taller front entrance peak as well. However, this home had a large concrete pad that limited our space in that area. So, by adding a couple risers, we were able to keep those to uplights further back from the home, covered up by landscape plantings, but lift them up enough to shine on the tall peak. With this being a higher traffic area, we decided to use Kichler’s adjustable cowl uplight in order to hide the glare from our LED light source when guests enter and leave the home.
