Village Vibrance

Waunakee, WI

We had the privilege of working with the Village of Waunakee to illuminate two of its most prominent public spaces: the Waunakee Community Center and the Village Park Pavilion. These city-owned commercial buildings serve as central hubs for local activity, and our goal was to provide a lighting solution that reflects the community’s vibrant spirit year-round. By installing permanent systems on these key structures, the village can now celebrate every season and civic event with the simple touch of a button. This project highlights our ability to partner with municipalities to enhance public infrastructure while creating a festive, welcoming atmosphere for residents. The result is a pair of community landmarks that shine as brightly as the town’s local pride.

Both buildings utilize our outward-facing “traditional” style of lights, which trace the architectural peaks and gables to provide a clean, high-visibility look from a distance. While the Community Center and the Park Pavilion are managed independently, the entire project utilizes a total of five smart controllers across both sites. This setup allows city staff to customize each building separately, choosing from a full spectrum of colors to match local festivals, holidays, or specific awareness months. The durable hardware is designed to withstand the elements, ensuring these municipal buildings remain a brilliant focal point for the village for years to come. This synchronized approach delivers a professional, polished aesthetic that truly elevates Waunakee’s public spaces.
